"Reinvented" Track is number !

Jim Hiltz, songwriter, wow a concept that back in 2012, I would have said "you are crazy". Here I am now an award winning songwriter and using music, I write, to help generate monies for organizations like The Wounded Warrior Project, Intrepid Fallen Hero Fund, Healing Newtown and The Liberty High School Music Boosters. what a rush.

Writing music has opened so many doors for me, has introduced me to so many talented musicians, organizations, and yes fans, again mindblowing. Most of all, I have rediscovered myself through music. I have learned so much from the great folks who have believed in my music, and recorded it with me. I have been able to communicate causes, social needs and personal feelings through songwriting. I am grateful for the musicians, producers, mentors, and loved ones who have helped me through this incredible journey.

I have written for The 9/11 Memorial, veterans, soldiers, first responders, cyber-bullying, and the most painful subject, the children of Newtown, Conn. I was honored to be invited to The Power of Peace Festival in Hartford, Connecticut and donate one of my songs proceeds to an organization called "Healing Newtown.

"Highway 9", our debut album, received very good reviews and makes its rounds now on college radio. I am proud of that cd. However, my writing is improving with each good song I write, and each bad song I krinkle up and throw in the trash. Our second Rhythm Surf Monkey project, entitled "Reinvented", is a 6 song EP with a bonus track that truly has an all-star cast of muscians from the Maryland area. This includes MMA Icon Award winner, Rob Fahey, and former Little River Band member, Tony Sciuto, and jazz bassist Mike Pope.

"Reinvented" has won awards for songwriting , 3 Akademia awards to date, and now we have our first number ONE single for he titile track of Reinvented. KXRL Radio june 2015. So blown away by the success of the album.

We are now in studio mixing our third, yes third cd in three years entitiled "Roll On" We are recording in 2 different studios this time, Shamrock Manor Studio, and Prescott Studio.
